It’s been a great summer here in Blackpool & Lytham St Annes and my hospitality & leisure clients have benefitted from the UK rise in staycations
They have been able to ride on the crest of wave with the right marketing. Getting 100% occupancy is a great achievement for all of them and I am proud to have played a part in that.
Credit must also go to the local Tourist Boards and Councils who arranged and supported so many great local attractions over the past few months. Events such as the St Annes Kite Festival, Lytham Festival and even the Supehero exhibition have ensured there has been something to entice everyone!
The sea-side is a great place to visit whatever the weather and our thoughts have already turned to the “off-season” with a range of strategies in place to keep the bookings coming in over the autumn and winter.
Adding value and a bit of imagination to the offers goes a long way to standing out from the crowd.
